Scan & Deliver requests

This service will be operating on the days that staff members are working from the Alison Richard Building (Tuesdays & Fridays) - please bear with us during the lockdown period whilst we have restricted access to our physical collections.

Please use this form (Cambridge University members only) to request up to:

• 1 chapter from a book, or
• 1 article from a journal issue,

Due to current working restrictions and the volume of enquiries, we would appreciate it if you could place requests for scans of books that are available solely at the African Studies Library. 

If items are also held at the UL, please use the UL Scan & Deliver service, as they have dedicated teams of staff to deal with your requests.  Thank you for your understanding.

Please check that the book or journal is not available electronically before submitting your information below.

Items to be scanned must conform to the Copyright Licensing Agency's terms and conditions.  

Please complete the form with as much information as possible regarding the material you require.

We aim to get back to you within 48 hours, dependent on COVID guidelines and access to work premises.
