The African Studies Library supports the research and teaching needs of the African Studies MPhil course, and supports the rest of the University in the Undergraduate and Postgraduate study of Africa. Our particular focus is on Africa south of the Sahara.
The Library also supports the work of the Centre and that of the Centre's constituent departments in the University in promoting research on Africa. Our policy of buying African published material, enables the dissemination of research that has been carried out in Africa to our users.
